5th Anniversary BBQ - Sunday, July 18

Happy 5th Anniversary to Chicago Mustang Club!

Date: July 18, 2010
Time: Noon - whenever
Location: I have secured an awesome location for our 5th Anniversary BBQ. We'll be in the lot of the School District 99 Administration Building, at 6301 Springside Avenue, Downers Grove. This is right behind our house, so we'll be bbq-ing in our yard, and parking our cars in the lot at 6301 Springside. There is plenty of parking for everyone!

Please let me know if you'll be able to make it so I can get enough burgers, etc!

We'll provide burgers, hotdogs, other food stuff, soda, water. If you want to bring something, please bring something to drink.

Please note: This event will be rain or shine. Smoking and/or drinking alcohol are not allowed in the lot (school property), but they are encouraged in our backyard, which is all of 25 ft away

Erica i just got word today, because of shutdown scheduling at Fermi-Lab our planned O/T for the 17th may have to be moved to the 18th. I would love nothing more than to come but i may not be able to attend. We'll have to see what time and when i work amybe i can show up towards the end.

Biggest annual Mustang and Muscle Car race & show of the year NMRA/NMCA Superbowl- it's local at Rt 66 Dragway in Joliet that weekend

seems like at this point in the summer it's impossible to find a day that works for everyone unfortunately. there's so much going on!!

Well - I did post in the 1st thread info on the event (kind of surprised more from here are not attending), and stated that I had voted for the 1st Sat in Aug and would like to change my vote to Sunday...which would have put 7 votes for that Sunday in Aug...

And totally agree - July is ALWAYS a busy month...although I don't know of anything interesting going on this weekend lol

I was just giving you shit. Sorry to get you worked up. I know the summer is always busy. I myself have something planned from now till move day. But you're right. I know of nothing this weekend besides packing.

I Cant Make It. Cant Leave My Dad Alone Anymore. He Is Starting To Walk Again So At Least I Can Get Him Out And Up To Lake For Weekends.hopefully He Will Get Good Enough To Go On Boat Sometime This Summer. Shirley Has To Stay On Shore With Him Now. Havent Been To Any Cruise Nites Either . I Feel Bad Leaving Shirley At Home To Watch Him.

I know a few people have said they're not going to be able to make it, but we have quite a few people RSVPd yes also. I think we're at about 20-25 people right now...

got the finaly word and i am not working saturday or sunday, i just have a 430AM start on monday the 19th... so i will be there! Let me knwo if i can bring anything!
